1. Order Cancellation — Before Dispatch
You may cancel an order placed on Hairsncares.com before it has been dispatched from our fulfillment centre. To cancel, use the "My Orders" section in your account or contact our support team at support@hairsncares.com within the cancellation window.
✅ Full refund applicable for orders cancelled before dispatch. Refund is credited to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- Orders are typically dispatched within 24–48 hours of placement.
- Once a dispatch confirmation SMS/email is received, pre-dispatch cancellation is no longer available.
- Partial cancellations (removing specific items from an order) are supported where technically feasible.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: no refund processing required; order is simply cancelled.
2. Post-Dispatch Cancellation
Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation is not permitted. You may refuse delivery at the door, in which case the shipment will be returned to our warehouse. A refund will be processed after the package is received and inspected by our team.
⚠️ Refusal of delivery for COD orders without valid reason may result in restrictions on future COD eligibility on your account.
- Refused delivery refunds: processed within 7–10 business days after receipt at warehouse.
- Return shipping cost is borne by Hairsncares for defective/wrong products only. For other refused deliveries, a nominal reverse logistics deduction may apply.
3. Rx (Prescription) Order Cancellation
Orders containing Schedule H, H1, or X (prescription-only) medicines are subject to additional cancellation rules under the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1940.
⚠️ Critical Note: Prescription medicines cannot be returned or refunded once dispensed, except in cases of manufacturing defect, wrong product supplied, or expiry at time of delivery. This is a legal requirement under Indian pharmaceutical regulations.
- Rx orders may be cancelled before prescription verification is completed — full refund applicable.
- After prescription is verified and order dispatched: cancellation and return are not available for Rx products.
- If your order is cancelled by us due to an invalid prescription: full refund within 5–7 business days.
- For incorrect Rx products received: contact rx@hairsncares.com immediately. Do not open sealed packaging.

4. Consultation Cancellation & Rescheduling
Hairsncares dermatologist consultations can be cancelled or rescheduled subject to the following notice period policy:
- Cancellation more than 24 hours before appointment: Full refund of consultation fee.
- Cancellation 4–24 hours before appointment: 50% refund of consultation fee.
- Cancellation less than 4 hours before appointment / No-show: No refund. The slot is considered utilised.
- Rescheduling (any time before 4 hours): Free rescheduling, subject to specialist availability. Rescheduling within 4 hours is not permitted.
- If the dermatologist cancels or is unavailable: full refund or free rescheduling offered.

5. Subscription Cancellation
For any subscription-based hair care plans or recurring orders placed through Hairsncares:
- Cancel at any time from your account dashboard under "Subscriptions".
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing/delivery cycle.
- No refund for the current active cycle once products have been dispatched.
- Future cycle charges will not be processed after cancellation confirmation.
6. Refund Timeline
- UPI / Net Banking / Debit Card: 3–5 business days
- Credit Card: 5–7 business days (bank processing time may vary)
- Wallet (PayTM, PhonePe): 2–3 business days
- COD refunds (if applicable): via bank transfer to provided account within 7–10 business days
📋 Refund timelines are estimates based on standard banking processing. In exceptional cases, processing may take up to 14 business days. Contact refunds@hairsncares.com if your refund is delayed beyond the stated timeline.
7. Non-Cancellable / Non-Refundable Categories
The following product and service categories are not eligible for cancellation or refund once dispatched or provided:
- Prescription (Rx) medicines once dispensed and dispatched
- Personal hygiene products (shampoos, serums, scalp products) once opened
- Customised / personalised hair care kits
- Consultation sessions where the consultation has commenced
- Digital products (AI reports, PDF treatment plans)
- Products with broken tamper-evident seals (unless defective)
8. Support Escalation
For cancellation disputes, refund delays or any other order-related concerns:

- Grievance Officer: grievance@hairsncares.com — escalated resolution within 48 hours
- Consumer disputes may also be raised through the National Consumer Helpline (1800-11-4000) or e-DAAKHIL portal.
