1. Delivery Coverage
Hairsncares ships to all serviceable pin codes across India through reputable courier partners. International shipping is not currently offered. If your pin code is non-serviceable, the cart will indicate this at checkout and you will not be charged.
- Metro cities: Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad — fastest service tier.
- Tier 2 / Tier 3 cities: standard service tier.
- Remote / North-East / island regions: extended timelines apply (see §2).
2. Delivery Timeline
All times are estimates from order dispatch (not from order placement) and assume in-stock items with no Rx verification pending.
- Metro: 2–4 business days
- Tier 2 / Tier 3: 4–7 business days
- Remote / North-East / island regions: 7–10 business days
- Schedule H prescription items: add 24–48 hours for Rx verification before dispatch
⏱️ Business days exclude Sundays and public holidays. Festival weeks (Diwali, year-end) may see courier delays outside our control. We will notify you proactively for any dispatch delay over 48 hours.
3. Shipping Charges
- Free standard shipping on prepaid orders above ₹499.
- Below ₹499: flat shipping fee shown transparently at checkout (typically ₹49–₹79 depending on weight and pin code zone).
- Cash on Delivery (COD): available on eligible orders below a defined cap. A small COD handling fee may apply, shown at checkout.
- Express shipping: available on select pin codes at additional cost; option appears at checkout when available.
- Bulk / wholesale or pharmacy-to-pharmacy orders are not handled through the consumer checkout — contact customer support.
All charges are inclusive of GST. Refunds, where applicable, exclude shipping fees unless the order was wrongly fulfilled or the product was damaged in transit (see §8 and the Cancellation Policy).
4. Prescription Product Shipping Rules
⚕️ Schedule H and H1 drugs require a valid prescription from a registered medical practitioner. We are bound by the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1940, the rules thereunder and CDSCO requirements. Read the full Prescription Policy before ordering Rx items.
- Prescription must be uploaded at checkout or in your account within 24 hours of order placement.
- Our licensed pharmacist verifies each prescription before dispatch — typically within 24–48 hours.
- Invalid, expired or unclear prescriptions will pause the order. Customer support will reach out for a clean copy.
- If a valid prescription is not provided within 7 days, the Rx portion of the order will be cancelled and refunded per the Cancellation Policy.
- Some Rx products require additional pharmacist counselling notes attached to the consignment, governed by the Drug Safety Disclaimer.
- Mixed orders (Rx + non-Rx) may be split-shipped: the non-Rx items can dispatch first, the Rx items follow once verified — at no extra cost to you.
5. Order Processing & Dispatch
- Orders placed before 2 PM IST on a business day are typically processed the same day.
- Orders placed after 2 PM, on Sundays or on public holidays are processed on the next business day.
- Once packed, orders are handed to courier partners for pickup. Dispatch confirmation is sent by SMS and email.
- For prepaid orders, processing begins on payment confirmation. Failed payments do not reserve stock.
- Stock-outs after order placement are rare; if they occur we will contact you within 24 hours with an option to substitute, wait, or refund.
6. Tracking Your Order
- You receive a tracking ID by SMS and email at dispatch.
- Track from /track-order, your account dashboard, or the courier partner link in the dispatch email.
- Tracking updates can take 12–24 hours to appear after the courier scan-in. If your tracking is silent for over 48 hours, contact customer support.
7. Failed Delivery
If a delivery attempt fails, our courier partners typically reattempt up to two more times over the next 2–3 business days.
- Common reasons: incomplete address, no one available to receive, phone number unreachable, building access issues, prescription products requiring an adult signatory who is unavailable.
- Please ensure your delivery address and phone number are accurate at checkout. Address corrections are possible only before dispatch.
- If all reattempts fail, the consignment is returned to our warehouse (RTO). For prepaid orders, refund is processed per the Cancellation Policy, with reverse-courier costs deductible in clearly avoidable cases.
📞 If you anticipate being unavailable, contact customer support in advance — we can hold dispatch or update the address before pickup.
8. Damaged, Tampered or Lost Orders
- Damaged on arrival: if the outer packaging is damaged or seal is broken, please do not accept the consignment. Photograph the damage and contact customer support within 24 hours.
- Damaged after opening: if you discover damage after opening, photograph the product and packaging and report it to support within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange replacement or refund as appropriate.
- Tampered prescription products: for any Rx item with broken seal or visible tampering, do not consume. Report immediately — replacement is provided after verification.
- Lost in transit: if tracking remains stalled for 7+ days, we open a courier dispute on your behalf. Once the courier confirms loss, replacement or full refund is issued.
- Wrong product shipped: if you receive a different SKU, do not open or use it. Photograph and report within 48 hours; we arrange free reverse pickup and correct dispatch.
9. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Hair care products — particularly opened cosmetic, scalp care and prescription items — have specific return rules driven by hygiene and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Unopened, unused products in original packaging may be returnable within the window described in the Cancellation & Return Policy.
- Opened cosmetic and Rx products are not eligible for return except in cases of damage, tampering or wrong dispatch (see §8).
- Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within standard banking timelines (5–10 business days for cards; instant–48 hours for UPI).
