📋 These Consultation Terms govern all dermatologist consultations booked through Hairsncares.com. By booking a consultation, you agree to these terms in addition to our Terms & Conditions, Telemedicine Policy, and Medical Disclaimer.
1. Booking Terms
- Consultations are booked through the Hairsncares platform in available time slots. Booking is confirmed upon successful payment.
- You will receive a confirmation email and SMS with the appointment date, time (IST), dermatologist name, and video/audio call link.
- Please join the consultation 5 minutes early. Ensure your device camera, microphone, and internet connection are functional.
- Consultations are typically 15–30 minutes. Extended consultations may be available at additional fee.
- You must be 18 years or older to book independently. For minors, a parent or legal guardian must be present throughout the consultation.
- Consultations are conducted in English and Hindi. Availability in regional languages depends on specialist — check the specialist profile at booking.
2. Consultation Fee Terms
- Consultation fees are displayed at booking. Prices are inclusive of applicable GST.
- Payment is due at the time of booking. Consultations are not confirmed until payment is received.
- Consultation fees do not include prescription medicines or products — these are purchased separately.

- Refund terms for fees are governed by our cancellation policy — see Section 3 below and Cancellation Policy.
- Promotional discounts applied at booking are non-transferable and cannot be combined with other offers unless stated.
3. Rescheduling & No-Show Policy
- Rescheduling before 4 hours: Free rescheduling to any available slot within 14 days. Subject to specialist availability.
- Rescheduling within 4 hours: Not permitted. The slot is considered booked.
- Cancellation 24+ hours before: Full refund of consultation fee.
- Cancellation 4–24 hours before: 50% refund of consultation fee.
- Cancellation <4 hours / No-show: No refund. The consultation slot is forfeited.
- Doctor no-show or technical failure on our end: Full refund or free reschedule — your choice.
- Rescheduling requests: use the "My Appointments" section in your account or email hairsncares@gmail.com.
4. Scope of Consultation
Hairsncares dermatologist consultations cover hair loss, scalp conditions, and related trichology within the scope defined in our Telemedicine Policy. The consultation is limited to the stated clinical area. The consulting RMP may:
- Assess your hair loss type and stage using your provided history and photographs
- Review your AI Hair Test report and refine the assessment
- Provide treatment recommendations aligned with evidence-based clinical guidelines
- Prescribe Schedule H medications where clinically appropriate and permitted under telemedicine guidelines
- Recommend OTC products, supplements, dietary changes, or lifestyle modifications
- Recommend in-person assessment or specialist referral where clinically indicated
The consultation does not include: emergency care; treatment of conditions outside trichology/hair dermatology; surgical procedures; or prescribing of Schedule H1/X medicines via telemedicine.
5. No Guaranteed Outcome
⚠️ No Guarantee of Outcome:Booking and completing a consultation does not guarantee any specific diagnosis, prescription, treatment recommendation, or clinical outcome. Hair loss treatment response varies significantly between individuals based on cause, genetics, stage, compliance, and other factors. The dermatologist's assessment and recommendations represent professional clinical judgment, not a guarantee of results.
Second opinions are welcome and we encourage patients to seek in-person assessment where there is diagnostic uncertainty.
6. Prescription & Referral Discretion
The decision to prescribe, not prescribe, or refer is entirely at the clinical discretion of the treating RMP. Hairsncares does not influence, incentivise, or require dermatologists to prescribe specific products. Specifically:
- A prescription is not guaranteed as an outcome of every consultation.
- The RMP will only prescribe where clinically indicated and permitted under applicable telemedicine guidelines.
- Refusal to prescribe does not entitle a refund unless due to doctor no-show or technical failure on our end.
- Prescriptions issued are valid clinical documents under the Drugs & Cosmetics Act and must not be altered, duplicated, or misrepresented.
- Referral letters to in-person specialists can be requested from your dermatologist where appropriate.
7. Follow-Up Terms
- Follow-up consultations are recommended at 3-month intervals for chronic hair loss conditions, or as advised by your dermatologist.
- Follow-up fees may be discounted for returning patients — check current pricing at booking.
- Consultation notes and prescriptions are available in "My Appointments" for 12 months. Request records beyond this via hairsncares@gmail.com.
- AI-based treatment tracking between consultations is available through the platform's Hair Progress tool.
8. Patient Responsibilities
By booking a consultation, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete medical history, including current medications, allergies, and known medical conditions
- Disclose pregnancy or breastfeeding status honestly
- Be present and ready at the scheduled appointment time
- Not record the consultation session without the dermatologist's explicit consent
- Follow treatment recommendations as advised — non-compliance may affect outcomes and will not constitute grounds for a refund
- Seek emergency care independently if an urgent medical need arises before or during the consultation
- Use the platform's consultation service only for its intended purpose (hair/scalp dermatology) and not to seek controlled substances inappropriately
