Hair oils are cosmetic care. They can support dry, damaged or frizzy hair as pre-wash treatment but do not fix iron, B12, vitamin D, thyroid, PCOS or postpartum shedding. Coconut oil may condition dry hair. Argan oil may reduce frizz. Almond, amla, bhringraj, fenugreek, hibiscus, black seed and castor oils have traditional cosmetic use.
